WELCOME TO MY BRAIN DUMP!
Do you ever try going to sleep at night and you just can’t get your mind to SHUT UP?
Well, that’s me just about every single night.
I’ve always been someone who has a million ideas constantly rolling through their head and I’ve always struggled getting my mind to slow down so that I can sleep.
It doesn’t stop there though.
My brain is a constant distraction in my daily life. My mind doesn’t stop racing and I’m constantly going from thought to thought in every moment of the day, creating a distraction for just about every task that arises throughout the day. Ashley, my wife, even points it out to me when she’s telling me a story by saying, “are you even listening? What did I just say?”
Well, typically I just laugh and shrug because she is absolutely right. Not that I wasn’t interested in what she had to say but that’s just how my mind works unfortunately.
Well, that’s where this blog comes in.
I felt like I needed an outlet and thought that this blog would be the perfect fit.
Not to mention, this blog is kind of killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
I’ve always been an ambitious person who wants to grow in every single way possible in both my professional and personal life. On top of being an outlet for my racing mind, I believe that this blog can be a tool to grow and expand my professional presence.
When it comes down to it, it’s 2022 right?
I don’t have a clear goal for this website and blog but I want it to be the platform that helps me take a big step forward.
First off, I’ve already had this blog idea help tame my thoughts.
You wouldn’t believe the list of ideas and topics that I’ve already just noted down throughout the past few weeks since I’ve thought of creating this website. Whenever something comes to my mind that I think is important, I just jot it down and let it out of my mind instead of holding onto it.
On top of that, I have professional goals of mine that I think this website will serve as a platform for me to dive into.
I love reading and researching about sales, psychology and the logistics industry. So much so, that I believe I can help deliver practical and applicable tips and tricks that can benefit even the most seasoned veteran in the industry.
Specifically with the logistics industry, it is so difficult to find tips and tricks that are simple. And honestly, most people only need those simple tips and tricks to catapult their careers forward.
They don’t need all that in-depth, inapplicable news that doesn’t help them negotiate rates and land customers. What they need is general concepts and ideas that can help them close deals and operate in a safe and efficient manner.
Overall, this website is going to start as just what I titled this blog post, a brain dump.
I don’t know what all I’m going to do with this website and whether I will expand this site and create additional. However, I’m excited to dive into this and see what is to come.
After this post, I’ll start diving into my personal thoughts and actual topics rather than a general overview.
Anyway, like they say… Onward and upward!
